Introduction Chronic dizziness is a common diagnosis. It has already been shown that dizziness represents an economic burden for both patients and healthcare system, resulting from frequent (interdisciplinary) visits to the doctor, long periods of incapacity to work and extensive diagnostics. Studies on relationship between health-related quality of life (QoL), patients' private financial expenditure and frequency of medical consultations for chronic dizziness are still lacking.
