Introduction Frailty is a syndrome of general physical decline, resulting in lack of physiological reserve and metabolic capacity. Assessment of frailty may help to identify patients at risk of adverse events following oncologic treatment. The relationship between frailty, postoperative complications and symptom burden was investigated.
