The work examines a set of measures taken in the Russian Federation to counter the involvement of minors in destructive subcultural communities. A comparison is made of the subculturation of youth in the Soviet and modern periods. The popularization of subcultural communities in the modern period and their influence on the spiritual and moral development of the younger generation are considered.
