This study explores the intricate relationship between celestial events, seasonal agricultural cycles, and cultural customs within the framework of Chinese festivals.Through an exploration of historical, symbolic, and contemporary dimensions, this study aims to reveal the essence of Chinese festivals that are based on astrological observations and seasonal practices throughout time. These festivals are intricately synchronized with celestial events, functioning as significant temporal indicators that reflect the lasting cultural heritage established through the cosmic interaction between the celestial bodies and our planet.Furthermore, it includes a compelling case study on the 24 solar terms, illuminating the intricate synthesis of astronomical observations, seasonal transitions, and cultural practices. This case study exemplifies how these factors converge to guide traditional agricultural practices, reflecting humanity's harmonious connection with the cosmic and terrestrial realms. In addition to this, the study broadens its focus on cultural evolution and the significance of this development in the present day.It does so by demonstrating how the historical association between celestial and terrestrial domains continues to exist in the modern era, despite the limitations of time and geography. The purpose of this research is to shed light on the intricate web of traditions that make up Chinese culture by illuminating the long-standing, mutually beneficial relationship that exists between astronomy, seasonal agriculture, and the associated festival celebrations that link all of these elements together.
