Professional accountants' expertise in financial reporting, audits and ethics helps to create transparent reporting systems. Collaboration, industry-specific measures, and current technologies are vital tools for accountants. The discussion concludes that professional accountants are crucial to eliminate double materiality and promoting sustainable company practices through ESG reporting.
