In the paper, an advanced RF module to reduce interference between the current DVB-T2 broadcasting and 5G/LTE networks in the 700 MHz or 800 MHz band is proposed. In recent years, the development of advanced wireless communication standards has been rapidly increasing. These are mainly Terrestrial Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB-T2), Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and 5G NR networks. The demands placed on these communication systems are very high in terms of their spectrum efficiency and flexible quality. The above radio networks operate in adjacent frequency bands and therefore interference often occurs. The reduction of harmful interference can be achieved by effective filtering in the RF band, i.e. the suppression of unwanted signals without changing the power level and quality parameters of the desired signal. In practice, however, there is always some degradation in the power level and quality parameters of the useful signal. This degradation is mainly quantified by passband attenuation, noise figure and phase characteristic of the used RF module. The proposed RF module has excellent performance in terms of the above parameters.
