The main objective of this work is to investigate steganography techniques using least significant bit. In the first part, the theory of steganography is described as well as the basic theory of LSB matching and LSB replacement methods. A description of the image from the perspective of the cover medium and parameters for assessing the quality of the cover medium containing the secret message are also included. In the second part, a block diagram illustrating the proposed solution is presented along with the results of the individual measurements after the cutting attack has been implemented. The conclusion of the paper describes the comparison of the results and the evaluation of the resulting scheme.
