Global climate change has become an undeniable reality, inspiring all sectors to actively seek ways to respond. Although the bicycle industry is currently relatively environmentally friendly throughout its lifecycle, there are still many potential environmental impacts when it comes to packaging. This project aims to use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the risk factors that the bicycle industry may face when transitioning to more environmentally friendly paper packaging. These factors include the adaptability of new materials, transportation protection effects, ecological impact, market acceptance, brand image, production costs, and supply chain changes. Through questionnaire surveys and expert opinions, a comparison matrix will be constructed to calculate the relative weight of each risk factor, providing an in-depth understanding of its impact on overall green packaging development. The results of this research will aid the bicycle industry in formulating sustainable development strategies, while also promoting its greater involvement in sustainable development and expediting the adoption of green packaging to fulfill its responsibility to the global environment.
