In the article I address some issues of the construction of a bilingual dictionary. I examine the lexicographic problems and solutions with respect to the macro- and microstructure of such a dictionary and comment on the lexicographic parameters of a specific one, the Bulgarian-Croatian dictionary. The conceptual framework adopted in the crafting of each dictionary specifies the main lexicographic parameters and the ways in which they are implemented. In conclusion, I provide a systematic account of the interaction among the parameters of a bilingual dictionary.
