This paper presents a new wideband antenna design utilized for vehicle digital television (DTV) application, where the antenna is integrated directly on a car chassis. It consists of a T-shape element, placed on a window opening of the car body. One part of the T-shape corresponds to a main radiation and the other part is for an additional radiation. The combination of the main and the additional ones creates wideband characteristic of the antenna, which covers the whole range of DTV application. The antenna can be installed at, for example, the quarter glass position of the car while maintaining it invisible from customers' view.
