Conventional electromagnetic calculation techniques rely on the use of conformal meshes, which are challenging and highly professional to generate. Whereas the present non-conformal mesh generation techniques require manual division of the target into subdomains, this significantly increases complexity. This report proposes a fast non-conformal mesh generation technique. Each non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) surface that makes up the object is individually meshed, and the entire mesh is obtained using the mapping method. This method has the characteristic of a simple and easy-to-grasp mesh generation process, which results in fast generation speed. A numerical example of using the discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method to analyze non-conformal meshes is given to show the feasibility of the proposed method.
