We consider muon pair production in $pp$ collisions in semiexclusive processes. In the leading order this process is described by γγ fusion. We consider the correction due to γ Z fusion and demonstrate that it is small, at the level of a few percent. However, we show that with the help of kinematic cuts the relative contribution of weak interaction corrections can be enhanced and reach the level of 20%.
