The article examines the powers of individual subjects of property and obligation rights related to their right to determine the market value of valuation objects, the rights to which are not defined by special legislation. The types of classification and forms of ownership of objects of civil rights are indicated, which can limit the right of owners of objects, other interested parties in the value to independently evaluate such objects.
