Data linkage report introduces combined SEER-Medicare and housing assistance data in cancer patients, highlighting opportunities to study social determinants of health.

Federal housing assistance may buffer against housing vulnerabilities among low-income households, but research examining the association of housing assistance and cancer care has been limited. We introduce a new linkage of Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program-Medicare and US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administrative data.
