This paper explores control strategies for nonlinear systems under input constraints, highlighting stability and performance guarantees.
In this paper, we look into control design alternatives for nonlinear system under input constraints, taking the bounds on the control inputs into consideration. We also consider their stability properties and performance guarantees. The designs are based on the input-output linearization technique augmented with the reference governors proposed previously for linear plants. The design methodology is illustrated in an academic example.
