When developing IoT devices, technologies that automatically plug and play sensor/actuator into the device have been studied. They are the IEEE1451 standard, ETRI standard, and our techniques. There are studies that have qualitatively analyzed each characteristic, but none have quantitatively compared and analyzed them. The problem is that the cost analysis is complicated because the Plug & Play techniques include standard system development, sensor/actuator module development, and application development. In this paper, Platform based Cost Analysis Scheme was proposed, and the cost of each method was analyzed based on this. For cost analysis, a number of experts estimated the development complexity and analyzed the cost based on the national standard cost table. As a result, it was shown that the cost of our techniques was the smallest.
