We investigate where the main producers and clusters of six field crops such as radish, cabbage, garlic, onion, chili pepper, and spring onion, respectively, are located in terms of cultivated area. To do this, we employ multi-level regression model and spatial cluster analysis with Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries over the period 2005∼2020. The estimated random effects resulting from the multi-level regression model are used to identify the main producers and clusters of the six field crops. Our main findings are as follows:the clusters of radish are located in Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, Gangwon, and Jeju. The clusters of cabbage are in Jeju, Gangwon, and Chungbuk, while those of garlic and onion are in Jeonnam, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Jeju. The clusters of chili pepper are in Gangwon, Chungbuk, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk. Furthermore, there exist small changes in clusters for radish and cabbage and big changes in clusters for spring onion, whereas there do not exist big changes in clusters for garlic, onion, and chili pepper.
