The article deals with the methodological recommendations for the research of the problem of studying the history of industrial cooperation in the USSR (1920s–1960s) in the history course. The importance of studying these issues for the formation of the foundations of entrepreneurship is substantiated. Within the framework of the study the main personal and professional results, which the students receive in the process of studying the formation and development of industrial cooperation, were emphasized. Among other things, this topic has a serious educational potential, which is directly related to the fundamental doctrine in education. After all, the main document that regulates the goals and objectives of modern education is the Federal State Educational Standard (hereinafter FGOS). The subject of research is directly related to its implementation, while through the realization of the results of the Federal State educational standards the education and formation of a harmoniously developed personality will be achieved. The implementation of the doctrinal provisions of the FSES will allow us to form a valuable and scientifically based understanding of labor activity as a basic factor of social development. Knowledge of the diversity of labor activity, in particular cooperative activity, as a form of self-organization of people for the purpose of enrichment in the period of 1920s–1960s, will contribute to a broader perception of the Soviet era, which is based on a historical and scientific view of the processes taking place in the past. This will deprive students of the opportunity to perceive the events and processes of the past from outdated and politicized positions, and will allow them to see the diversity and complexity of Russian history. Thus, the author formulated recommendations for teachers to study the material, suggested additional historical sources.
