Unemployment is becoming a social problem due to deepening low birth rates, entry into a super-aging society, and rapid digital transformation due to the coronavirus pandemic. To solve this unemployment rate and create quality jobs, the skills and experience accumulated during employment are needed.Senior technology start-ups that show strengths in networking, etc., should be promoted. This study considered ways to revitalize technology start-ups for seniors, assuming it is important to lead innovation in the national economy and create factors to drive growth. This study aims to present effective senior technology start-up policy tasks through fact-finding surveys in previous studies on senior technology start-ups and case analysis of major advanced countries. This study will analyze the limit factors of 33 "middle-aged technology start-up centers" nationwide, which are currently operated by the government, and study the practical support policy effects by exploring institutional methods (tax support and legal expenses) that are highly likely to succeed. The results of this study suggest an alternative to linking with corporate venture investment (CVC) to revitalize senior technology start-ups in Korea, which will identify the direction of development of senior technology start-up support policies and contribute to establishing government policies and industrial revitalization measures. This study, published not long after CVC was allowed, has limitations in that CVC needs more win-win cases by investing in senior technology start-ups.Still, future research aims to present more specific support measures by analyzing the effects of tax support on various old technology start-ups and private investment links carried out in developed countries along with these successful investment cases.
