At present, due to the high cost of power supply from large power grids to remote areas, isolated microgrids are generally used for power supply in remote areas. Improving the power consumption rate of distributed renewable energy power generation is conducive to achieving the dual-carbon target. Energy storage technology is an important means to reduce the impact of the fluctuation and intermittency of clean energy power generation in microgrids. At present, compressed air energy storage is one of the most promising technologies among all energy storage technologies, with the advantages of higher capacity, environmental friendliness and lower siting requirements compared with other energy storage. This paper proposes a coupling application scenario of compressed air energy storage and wind power generation. First, simplified models of and wind turbines was established. Secondly, MATLAB/Simulink was used to simulate and verify the coupling application scenario. The simulation results show that compressed air energy storage can maintain the load voltage and frequency of wind power generation, and can maintain the stable operation of wind power generation.
