A new approach to detecting the dynamics of the hourly number of epileptiform spike-wave discharges in the development of delayed ischemia after subarachnoid hemorrhage during long-time electroencephalograms monitoring is described. The detection algorithm is based on the analysis cross-correlation function of electroencephalograms with the selected spike. The parameters of spike-wave discharge selection are given. The results of comparing the dynamics of the number of spike-wave discharges per hour in the left and right hemispheres of a patient after subarachnoid hemorrhage in the prefrontal region of the right hemisphere, who was diagnosed with the development of delayed ischemia, are described. There was a significant difference in the number of spike-wave discharges per hour in this patient compared to a control patient also after a subarachnoid hemorrhage in the prefrontal region of the right hemisphere, but in whom delayed ischemia was not diagnosed.
