Processing and interpreting radar images, automated and automatic processing is becoming increasingly popular. Among the observation objects, one can distinguish extended (thread-like) objects, for example, railway tracks, gas and oil pipelines, power lines, runways and others. The paper examines the possibility of automatic detection of such objects in radar images using the constant false alarm rate adaptive processor and Radon transform. Comparative analysis of the effectiveness of these approaches is carried out.
