The article presents methods for studying the energy of a magnetic field in an inductive winding using the laws of conservation of energy, i.e. the conversion of electrical energy into magnetic energy, magnetic energy into thermal energy. The dependence of the strength of thermal electric excitation and the strength of the magnetic induction current at different distances between the poles was determined by experimental and theoretical calculations and the empirical formula was generalized. In addition, the volumetric density of magnetic energy is calculated and magnetic induction graphs are constructed, depending on the distance of the current and the poles, the distance and current strength of the thermomotive force from the poles at different values. The volt-ampere characteristic of the assembled device is removed and a calibration graph KSd is built). The data on the fact that according to the calibration curve, the magnetic energy in the magnetic winding makes it possible to determine the distance between any current and the poles at different values
