The article considers the process of control of spatial movement of the SCARA-type robot-manipulator with the use of the visual evoked potentials (VEP) based brain-computer interface (BCI). The design and general layout of the control system of the control object are described. Software (software) has been developed to provide visual stimuli, receive and process electroencephalogram (EEG) data, and to form control commands. Then the speed and accuracy of the brain-computer interface is evaluated. An experiment was carried out with the participation of a group of subjects, during which they were to control the executive device in different modes. As a result, it is found that the developed brain-computer interface can be used for effective control of the movement of the manipulator.
