Digital Orthophoto Maps (DOM) are images with uniform scale and orthographic properties. When it is desired to quickly obtain high-precision DOM through ultra-low-altitude aerial photography, the traditional methods are no longer applicable. This letter is proposed to solve the problem of DOM producing under the framework of 3D reconstruction. This letter builds a system from data collection to DOM generation. In the bundle adjustment (BA) part of obtaining the camera pose through the visual odometry (VO), a residual model is established based on the GPS information to provide scale information while improving accuracy. After dense reconstruction, mesh reconstruction and 3D rendering are per-formed, the DOM is obtained through projection. Finally, by conducting experiments and application, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified.
