Knowledge Experience Design (KED) is a software design method that converts people's experiences into information and shares and utilizes that knowledge among individuals, groups, and organizations in order for groups and organizations to carry out high-quality activities. By applying this method to viewing museum experiences, creating an environment using software that supports recording and sharing viewing experiences is possible. This environment provides viewers with a more exploratory way of viewing exhibits and allows them to gain new perspectives from other viewing experiences. These things lead to improving the quality of each viewing experience. In this work, the viewing experience support environment (VeXSE) designed based on KED was prototyped, and the results of trial experiments were evaluated and studied. The evaluation and discussion confirmed that VeXSE based on the KED contributes to viewers' exploratory viewing and gaining new perspectives from other viewing experiences. These things show that the idea of Knowledge Experience effectively creates software that promotes people's creative activities and supports their growth. This paper introduces KED, explains VeXSE based on KED, and then evaluates and discusses it based on the results of trial experiments.
