Data Analytics Tool (DAT) is an application that collects and analyzes data in order to improve business processes and aid in discovering hidden trends and patterns thereby uncovering insights to make future data-driven and intelligent decisions. This project is aligned with the business and data analytic courses content of the University and intended to be used by the faculty members and students enrolled in these courses. With the utilization of DAT, the users can uniformly use it in simulating business analytics with the given data set. DAT development was based on the principles of lean methodology. Various technologies incorporated in the application were: data mining, statistical measures, forecasting, and decision analysis methods. These tools were implemented using Visual Studio and coded using C# because of its flexibility. DAT was evaluated for its effectiveness and efficiency as a data analytic tool for faculty members and students using the ISO/IEC 20510 software quality assurance standard with the factors: functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, and reliability. The weighted mean results per criterion were computed, and interpreted using the Likert scale model and resulted in the acceptability rate of the respondents
