This study analytically investigated elastic stress distribution in rotating cylinders made of Titanium and Bronze material. The Von Mises yield criterion was applied under the assumption of plane strain conditions. The modelling process considered that the disc material remains unaffected by temperature variations. The thermal stresses of a thin circular disc are being studied. The determined temperatures are close to the maximum and minimum temperatures at which the material can work. The numerical analysis is one, and the results are depicted as a whole with graphs. This study also examined the changes in the temperature distribution on the stress distribution. At the end of the study, it was determined that the stresses occurring in the titanium material cylinder were higher than the bronze disc, and the pressures were inversely proportional to the increase in the grading parameter in the cylinders. Additionally, the ANSYS finite element program was utilised for validation.
