The analysis of a isolated twin buck-boost converter for is presented in this article for battery charging applications. With a CLLC resonant structure, the first stage is a two-output isolation stage. The second stage functions as a twin buck-boost converter for battery charging applications. Using a transformer, the first stage isolates the battery by producing two output voltages that correspond to the lowest and greatest voltage values for both normal and rapid battery charging. The converter's overall output voltage is then controlled by the second stage. By contrast, a wide variety of battery voltages can be controlled by the second stage's output voltage. In terms of time domain parameters, controllers such as fuzzy logic controllers (FLC) and proportional integrals (PI) are compared and examined. Using MATLAB simulation and experimental findings under various charging situations, the converter's strength and performance characteristics are determined.
