Security is crucial given the rising sophistication and ubiquity of cyber dangers in today's digitalised and networked world. The present study delves into the significance of safeguarding login pages as the primary precaution against cyberattacks. It specifically addresses the susceptibilities and possible impacts linked to compromised login credentials. The research explores various cyberattack techniques, particularly the dangerous consequences of dictionary and brute force attacks. The significance of strong security protocols, cooperative endeavours, and ongoing adjustment to dynamic threats is emphasised. Additionally, the document offers defence mechanisms and preventive measures such as rate limitation, password rules, IP whitelisting/blacklisting, adaptive authentication, two-factor authentication, account lockout policies and password hashing with salting. Additionally, a proactive approach that includes immediate user authentication, automated verification codes, and IP address restrictions is suggested to thwart hacking attempts and ensure a secure online environment. Login page security from cyberattacks is critical in today's digital environment. To reduce the dangers associated with hacked login credentials and maintain a safe online environment, it is imperative to implement a robust combination of security mechanisms, including two-factor authentication and proactive defence measures.
