Abstract Honey bees, crucial for ecosystems and human health, confront rising mortality from parasites, pesticides, habitat loss, nutrition issues, and climate change. This affects the environment, economy, and human well-being. Progress in EPR instrumentation offers promise for in vivo imaging of small samples, like bees. This paper introduces a pioneering in vivo EPR imaging methodology to explore redox processes in honey bee intestines, advancing our understanding of these vital insects' health.
