In indoor localization, many researchers use localization methods based on combined data (fingerprints, FPs) of the coordinates of a point and the sensor values measured at that point. However, many current methods rely on human labor to collect the data and are not applicable to large-scale indoor spaces. Using the Visual SLAM method for localization, this study proposes an FP measurement method that can efficiently collect high-density FPs even in large indoor spaces.
