Supervised Learning Approach for Detection Of Malicious Nodes

Malicious node is one of the challenges faced by Sensors in IoT. Malicious node attacks a node by means of Denial of Service attack (DoS), and then drops the significant information forwarded by the neighbouring node. Overall performance of a network will be degraded by the malicious node. To detect malicious node, we applied concept of supervised learning called decision tree approach. Trusted node in a network will find the malicious node by calculating routing time of a node. Node with maximum routing time and minimum routing time will be detected as malicious node.
