We provide a direct correspondence between the b-Hurwitz numbers with $b=1$ from {ChapuyDolega}, and twisted Hurwtiz numbers from {TwistedHurwitz}. This provides a description of real coverings of the sphere with ramification on the real line in terms of monodromy.
