The knowledge about geoelectrical structure of the area are very important for the all stages of the mineral exploration. The traditionally applied at the regional stage airborne methods, such as TEM or AEM, of course, have a lot of advantages, but their application is quite expensive. The technology of UAV based EM sounding was developed as effective tool for fast studying ore prospective area with square from the first km up to first hundred km. The technology includes the towed receiving equipment, which measures three magnetic component, the methodology of field survey implementation, the software for data processing and 1D inversion. The results of UAV based EM sounding obtained at several ore prospective sites showed their ability for geolectrical section studying in the depth range from the first up to 600 meters, faults delineating, intrusion mapping and allocation of the prospective sites. The following ground based investigations at the anomaly areas with for example IP registration allow detecting the ore zones.
