This research aims to describe the dimensions of knowledge and high-order thinking skills in teaching modules. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a content analysis and interview approach. Data sources include module documents and teacher and expert informants. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data were validated by triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis uses content analysis techniques and interactive model analysis. The research findings are that all dimensions of knowledge and aspects of high-order thinking skills are contained in modules with different distributions. The amount of factual knowledge is the largest compared to other knowledge. Meanwhile, creative skills are the most frequently found high-level skills. The implication of this research is that conceptual and metacognitive knowledge needs to be further improved in preparing Indonesian language learning modules.
