The advantages and disadvantages of model method, noise suppression method and time-of-flight method of ultrasonic transducer are analyzed, and a temperature-adaptive method for measuring time-of-flight is proposed. Two pairs of transducers are installed vertically and acutely with the central axis respectively. The transducer model analysis, filtering algorithm and adaptive tracking algorithm are studied, and the piezoelectric-voltage equivalent mathematics is obtained. The identification of the model is completed, and the adaptive filtering algorithm, the automatic tracking algorithm of the transit time based on threshold method and cross-correlation theory are designed by the equivalent model. The experimental data prove that this method is feasible to solve the problems of large attenuation of ultrasonic propagation and serious acoustic noise interference.
