The selection and design of electrodes with different geometry shapes for electropolymerization is a challenge, especially considering the electric field required for electropolymerization and the homogeneity of polymers. This paper carried out a COMSOL simulation analysis of an electric field generated by three different geometry electrodes. In addition, the simulation model of the electropolymerization electrode is established. The calculation is carried out based on finite element and boundary element analysis. The non-uniformity of the electric field generated by the three electrodes is sorted, and the electrode with the lowest non-uniformity is selected for the electropolymerization experiment. Finally, on the basis of reasonable simulation, the correspondence between the electric field intensity value and the actual polymerization area and the target polymerization area is obtained by comparing the results with the simulation results. To sum up, it is of great significance to select the best electrode for the experiment by analyzing the non-uniformity of the electric field generated by electrodes with different geometric shapes. It is an important basis for studying the pattern method of electropolymerization.
