Energy efficiency, often referred to as efficient energy usage, is the process of reducing the amount of energy necessary to generate goods and services. An analysis of energy efficiency in Saudi Arabia and several African countries is provided in this paper, which makes use of secondary sources to perform the analysis. The study uses a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model to assess energy efficiency using three input and two output variables. Several African countries, including Saudi Arabia, can detect inefficient processes and make decisions regarding critical development initiatives with the assistance of the approach that has been provided. In addition, the study's findings indicate a requirement to improve the management of resource allocation resources. A more adequate formulation of policy will be made possible due to these findings, which will assist government agencies in determining the elements that influence the development of countries.
