Moving family can be caused by work due to official policies or personal desires. The experience of a moving family causes an individual to move and adapt to a new environment. Social skills are needed for individuals who move to adjust to new environments every time they move and can help carry out early adult development tasks. This research uses qualitative methods and a case study approach to reveal the process of developing social skills in early adult women with a moving family background. In this study, subjects were obtained using a purposive sampling technique: three women with an age range of early adulthood (20-40 years). Data analysis uses thematic analysis starting from the process of coding information, which can produce a complex list of themes, theme models, indicators, qualifications usually related to that theme, and things between or a combination of those mentioned. The research results show that social skills experience can be applied in fulfilling early adult development tasks. Well-developed social skills today must be connected to the experience of moving families, especially those related to situations that require social skills to emerge and act as a medium for forming social interactions. Social skills start from social skills related to peers, skills related to self, academic, compliance, and interpersonal skills
