Abstract

Smart cities have gained attention in times offering the promise of enhancing urban infrastructure, sustainability and overall quality of life. The reliability and resilience of the software systems that support the interconnected technologies driving a smart city are crucial. Any glitches or disruptions, to these systems can have repercussions on the being and living standards of residents. Additionally flawed software can result in losses. Damage the reputation of communities. Since technology plays a role in smart city development it is essential to address technology related challenges to achieve urban growth. This research study explores obstacles associated with technology, in smart city development through identification and discussion using the Best-Worst method.
