Reversible Hydrogen Storage In article number 2300215, Muhammad Saad Salman and Kondo-Francois Aguey-Zinsou disclose a solvent-free method for the scalable production of cube-like core-shell sodium borohydride for reversible hydrogen storage. Mechanistic understanding reveals that in-situ formed boride species in the core-shell structure lead to diborane free hydrogen release and superior hydrogen uptake. This study opens new avenues to explore solvent-free synthetic methods for reversible (boro)hydrides.
