[End Page 294] Jennifer Pinck Jennifer Pinck's paintings reflect a turn from a trailblazing career in the design and construction industry to her current journey as an artist. Observing and interpreting the natural landscape, buildings, shadows, light, and color are integral to her process. Pinck draws on decades of experience converting two-dimensional plans into three-dimensional structures. The same attention to detail she brought to her storied career now informs her practice as a painter. In her painting studio in Gloucester, Massachusetts, she has now immersed herself in creating art and exploring mediums and compositions. In her professional career, she was the first woman to obtain a full Boston Builder's License (1986), worked on the tallest cast-in-place skyscraper in New England, and had lead roles on both of New England's megaprojects, first as construction manager on the Deer Island Treatment Plant and then as mitigation director on the Big Dig. She delivered over $6 billion worth of projects through her former company, Pinck & Co., a project management firm serving nonprofit, public sector, and institutional clients.
