Evaluatie van de samenwerking tussen mensen met autisme, hun naasten en professionals binnen de Academische Werkplaats Autisme

We evaluated the collaboration between autistic people, their relatives/proxies, care-/educational professionals and researchers within the project groups of the Academic Workplace Autism 2.0 through participatory action research combined with thematic analyses. We identified six themes that are of importance for successful collaboration with experts by experience: communication, shared decision making, roles and positions, capacity building, development and support, safety and connection, context and conditions. Challenges are discussed and recommendations for improvement are provided
