The process of neon-helium mixture separation is very important in the realities of different fields. Neon and helium are inert gases, therefore they can only be separated by physical methods. Due to the strong differences in kinetic, thermophysical and molecular properties of neon and helium, condensation, distillation and adsorption can be used for separation. In order to optimise the separation processes, it is important to have a mathematical model. The accuracy of the modelling depends on the correct selection of the phase equilibrium equation of the neon-helium mixture. In this paper, vthe enrichment and separation processes of the mixture, some equilibrium models are considered. Comparison of the chosen model with the theoretical basis is carried out. The difficulties of considering this topic are discussed. A comparison of the results of the study with experimental data is carried out, the study is summarised.
