This work is devoted to the study of grid convergence. The convergence of the explicit finitely different McCormack method is studied in relation to a mathematical model of the dynamics of an electrically charged aerosol. The mathematical model implements a continuum technique for mathematical modeling of the dynamics of inhomogeneous media. The model includes the exchange of momentum and heat between the components of a two-phase mixture. For each component of the mixture, a system of hydrodynamic equations is written - continuity equations, momentum conservation equations, energy conservation equations. The two-dimensional system of Navier-Stokes equations describes the movements of the gas phase. The two-dimensional Poisson equation models the electric field. The electric field model was solved by the finite difference method. In software implementation, a nonlinear correction scheme suppresses oscillations of the numerical solution. The flow of a two-phase medium is caused by the electric field of the dispersed phase. Gas flow occurs due to the movement of the dispersed phase. Particles are under the influence of various aerodynamic forces. The convergence of the grids was studied by conducting computational experiments on a sequence of grid refinements. Analysis of the calculation results showed the convergence of the method for this mathematical model.
