Three years after we began living through an unprecedented infectious disease epidemic at the end of 2019, our world is still heavily affected by COVID-19. Therefore, new tools such as LitCovid, iSearch COVID-19 portfolio, and the WHO COVID-19 Research Database (WHO COVID-19 RDB), which collects and provides information specific to COVID-19 infections, have been launched. Herein, I describe our activities directed towards providing the bibliographic details of Ichushi-Web to the WHO COVID-19 RDB, what we haveachieved from such activities, and an overview of this database. I have continued this activity in the hope that inclusion of as much bibliographic information as possible to the tool provided by WHO, a global organization, will help to improve the world’s access to research published in Japanese.
