A magnetically tunable metamaterial-based absorber composed of a periodic array of square ring shape has been theoretically and numerically demonstrated. The proposed structure comprises of semiconducting material Indium Arsenide (InAs) square ring shape over a dielectric substrate backed by metallic layer. Simulation results provides minimum absorptance of 99.1% at 2.565 THz and a maximum absorptance of 99.9% at 2.435 THz by the activation of magnetic field at B=0.2T and 0.6 T as well as provide high tunability of 0.325 THz/T in the maximum resonance spectrum. This structure is further examined for different parameter variations, such as substrate thickness and thickness of InAs square ring shape structure. In addition, the proposed structure provides high angular stability with wide variation in incidence and polarization angle while maintaining absorptivity of 99% all through, as well as rotation of incident waves by 900 provides another control modality over the maximum absorptance frequency.
