Novel Entropy Measure for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set for the Selection of Laptop using COPRAS Approach

Intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) is an extension of Fuzzy set (FS), as it overcomes the limitation of FS. This research presents a new entropy measure for IFS, demonstrate the definition along with the validation of several associated properties. MCDM or Multi Criteria Decision Making, is a approach for weighing multiple factors in a decision, often relying on insights from experienced individuals. Entropy-based decision-making is advantageous because, as entropy rises, it decreases uncertainty. In this paper we have given a numerical example to equate our novel entropy measure with existing entropy measures of IFS to validate our results using Complex proportional assessment (COPRAS) method.
