Automotive globoid CAM is a kind of space undevelopable surface, its shape is complicated, it is difficult to draw by the general mechanical drawing method, and it is easy to produce various problems in the actual processing. A non-contact laser scanning technique is used to measure the geometry of automotive curved cams. The single chip microcomputer LPC1768 used in this system is a single chip microcomputer with ARMCortex-M3 core produced by NXP. In order to realize the subdivision drive of the stepper motor, the A4988 dedicated two-phase stepper motor driver is selected. The subdivision drive circuit of the stepper motor is simplified, the stroke switching circuit is constituted by GK152 infrared light sensor, and the heating temperature of the heating bed and extruder is adjusted by PID method. Finally, the data was post-processed using inversion software Geomatic Studio, and imported into Pro/E software to complete 3D entity reconstruction. Geomatic Qualify software was used to detect and analyze the deformation of the model. The digital reverse design of complex automotive products is realized by combining it with the numerical control simulation software Mastercam.
